10 Years

10 years.
8 years of graduate study.
7 homes.
6 vehicles.
4 states.
2 children, going on 3.
Countless memories.

Through thick and thin,
plenty and in want,
joy and sorrow,
sickness and health,
frustration and delight,
10 years.

And the adventure has only just begun...

{Enjoy pictures of the two of us and our growing family from each of those 10 years, along with 10 statements of gratitude}

I am thankful for the gift of you, Zachary Alan Poppen.

I am thankful for God's goodness and grace that brought us together and bound us together in Christ 10 years ago, and has held us together to this day.

I am thankful for the gift of friendship and companionship.

I am thankful for the way God has taken our own individual messes to work out the mess in one another, and work in newness and holiness.

I am thankful for our vast differences that complement and strengthen one another.

I am thankful for the ways we have changed and the ways we have remained the same.

I am thankful for the gift of our family and these precious children who have brought us so much joy.

I am thankful for our many adventures together.

I am thankful that our marriage has found deep roots in God's unchanging faithfulness and unending love.

I am thankful that our love is fuller, deeper, richer and more beautiful than it was on that day, 10 years ago.

Every year was a gift. Here's to many, many more.
Happy Anniversary
to my best friend and love of my life!

And thank you to all our family and friends who have stood by us supporting us, loving us, praying for us, caring for us. We love you all!

And if those weren't enough pictures to look through, here are many more (and a few videos) - because this past month was FULL to the brim. :)
