The end of 2016 brought a few big changes for our family, namely:
1. Zoë lost her first tooth (a big deal)
2. Zac finished the coursework portion of his PhD program (a very big deal)
3. We moved! (a very, very big deal)
This house has become home!
We are so grateful to our incredibly generous, hard-working and supportive family members who made this move possible! We love our sweet little "green house" (as the kids call it) and are truly enjoying filling this space with laughter, beauty and love. It has been quite the adventure already! There were many hiccups and frustrations, but through it all we have seen God's grace, provision and sustaining strength.
Somehow in the midst of packing, moving and unpacking, we still managed to have a delightful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebration of Jesus with Grandpa, and fun times throughout the holiday break with him and Didi & Papa, Uncle Daniel, Gruncle Herm, Auntie Judy and the Nelson clan.

The kids had blast playing with Uncle Daniel!
And Gruncle too!
And then Papa showed up and stole the show. :)

Snow in Texas!
We didn't get much, but we had fun anyway.
Here's to a new year
May it be
full of hope
full of peace
full of joy
full of laughter
full of beauty
full of adventure
full of love
